Terms and Conditions

We only ship engines to locations inside the 50 United States. There are some models that Tohatsu does not allow us to ship.


Return Policy:

The terms and conditions listed in our return policy are those of Boats & Motors and TohatsuOutboardsOnline.com. We provide our own customer service department to address and resolve any issues you might have.

  • Engines

Engines cannot be returned. If you are not sure which motor will suit your needs, please call us to discuss it before you purchase. If you have issues we will first try to help you over the phone. It is sometimes a "pilot error" issue.  If the motor has an issue we cannot resolve over the phone, it will have to be taken to an authorized dealer for warranty assessment.

  • Parts and Accessories

The item9s) must be unused, in original packaging, and complete with all components included. Service manuals, special orders and electrical parts are non-returnable. Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt of the order. Items that were ordered by you in error, are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Please note that freight charges to return an item ordered in error are your responsibility and are not refundable.

Return Process

  1. Call us at (781) 245-3080, please have your order number ready.
  2. We will review your request and if you meet the required conditions, we will provide you with a return authorization number. 
  3. Carefully package the item, and include all of it's components. Please be sure not to write on or damage the manufacturer’s packaging or label, as this can make an item not returnable.
  4. Ship your package in it’s original manufacturers box (if applicable). Please write your return # on the outside of the box.
  5. Once we receive your package, we will inspect the items to ensure they meet our guidelines. If the item and packaging are in new condition, we will process the refund back to your original payment method.


Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued back to the original method of payment.
  • Please allow 7-10 business days for refunds to be processed following receipt of your return.
  • Please call (781) 245-3080 with any questions regarding the status of your return. Please have your order number.


Damaged Shipments

Freight damage is handled on a case by case basis. In the event of freight damage, we will do our best to help you have a satisfactory solution.
If you receive a damaged product, save the box and all packaging material and call us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. You MUST make notation of damage on the truckers bill of lading at the time of delivery and retain a copy or photo. The trucker should provide you with a claim number. Please take pictures of the damage if you are able to.
